Textured stone prints

My silkscreen prints are handmade in my studio near St Buryan in, Cornwall. The stone series of prints are influenced by the geology and rugged landscape specific to West Penwith. The process involves using a combination of photographic, hand-drawn and paper-cut  stencils used in various combinations in multiple overlays to create rich, densely textured images. Each edition is produced in small runs of between 10 and 20 depending on size and complexity and is generally printed on 270gsm G+F Smith Colorplan acid free paper. This has a beautiful surface and the 270gsm weight is ideal for holding multiple layers of ink without distortion. All prints are available to buy in the store
