Penwith Trees

My silkscreen prints are handmade in my studio near St Buryan in, Cornwall. The Tree series of prints are influenced by the Monterey Pines that have been transplanted to West Penwith from Northern California. The process involves using a combination of photographic and paper-cut  stencils used in various combinations in multiple overlays. Each edition is produced in small runs of between 10 and 20 depending on size and complexity and is generally printed on 270gsm G+F Smith Colorplan acid free paper. This has a beautiful surface and the 270gsm weight is ideal for holding multiple layers of ink without distortion. All prints are available to buy in the store
